OBITUARY Marilou M Hoffar September 22, 1929 – July 14, 2018 Marilou Marsh Hoffar, 88, formerly of Evansville, passed away July 14, 2018. She was born on September 22, 1929, in Galesburg, IL, to the late Clinton and Ruth Marsh. Marilou graduated Deaconess Nursing School as an RN and she was the field trip nurse for Bosse High School.

She was an RN for doctor’s offices in the area. She was a member of Morningside Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and attended Builders Sunday School Class. Marilou enjoyed camping, nature, and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hoffar; brother, Bill Marsh; and sister, Betty Miller. Marilou is survived by her sons, Kirk Walter Hoffar, Keith Clinton Hoffar (Mindy); daughter, Kittie Beth Brown (Jeff); grandkids, Kim, Bryan, Nathan, Clinton, Lauren, Meredith; and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held 12 noon on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Pastor James Messer, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.

Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Morningside Cumberland Presbyterian Church and The Alzheimer’s Association.
