Dennis Wray Elliott, 70, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Dennis was born in Olney, Illinois on October 25, 1947 to the late Dennis C. and Patricia (Wray) Elliott. He honorably served in the United States Navy.

Dennis worked as a truck driver alongside his wife for many years and was active in the family businesses, Elliott’s Steak House and Elliott’s Super Value. Dennis is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda (Rexing) Elliott of Evansville, IN; daughter, Candy Rene Wildt (Michael) of Moweaqua, IL; son, Dennis Wray Elliott II (Kristol) of Evansville, IN; siblings, Phil Elliott (Audrey), Kathy Thompson (Darrel), Cindy Elliott, Lori Wiseman (Marvin), Tricia Abrams (Mark); sister-in-law, Mary Elliott; grandchildren, Allison Fouraker Elliott (Joshua Moore), Logan Wildt (Noelle), Ryker Elliott-Barnhart (Grace Endsley), Mariah Elliott, Rylee Wildt, and Eli Elliott; and great-grandchildren, Annabelle Moore and June Barnhart. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Ben Elliott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church, 12300 S. 50 W., Haubstadt, IN 47639 with Fr.

Kenneth Betz celebrating. Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave.
