Richard A. “Rick” Fowler, age 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Good Samaritan Home. Rick was born February 3, 1950, in Evansville, IN to the late Robert H. Fowler, Sr. and Ravelee Fowler. He graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1968 and was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Rick’s great passion in life was rock music and guitar music. He worked for many years in the area of building maintenance. He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Fowler and Christopher Fonner (Angie), both of Evansville; step-daughter, Shelley Chambers (Lamont) of Evansville; sister, Anne Kerney (Mark) of Evansville; nephew, Rob Fowler (Lindsay) of San Diego, CA; niece, Abby Brimm (Steve) of Huntingburg, IN; sister-in-law, Debby Fowler of Huntingburg, IN; and several grandchildren, great nieces, and a great nephew.

He is preceded in death by parents and brother, Robert H. Fowler, Jr. Family Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Visitation Open to the Public will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. A brief Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL with Reverend Kurtis Bueltmann officiating. Entombment will be Private.
