Janet L. “Nana” (Eaton) Gore, 77, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. Janet was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 1, 1941 to the late George Eaton and Edna Lois (Nunn) Hansen. She graduated from Central High School in 1959.

After graduating from high school, Janet began working at Deaconess Hospital and went on to Lockyear Business College. She was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed working word search, coloring books for adults and playing bingo.

Janet loved spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Janet is survived by her sisters, Charlotte Eaton of Evansville, IN, Donna Bienhaus of Evansville, IN and Gail Hansen Lee of Evansville, IN; her brother, Ron Eaton (Suzy) of Newburgh, IN; best friend of 40 years, Linda Lynxwiler of Evansville, IN; and by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents.

A sharing of memories service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
