Shirley Rae (Longist) Oglesby, age 81, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Linda E. White Hospice House. Shirley was November 11, 1936, in Evansville, IN, to Winfred Juanita Gertrude (Hall) Longist and the late Raymond Lee Longist. She graduated from Central High School.

She is survived by her son William “Bill” A. Oglesby II; grandchildren, Steven Davis, Sophia Oglesby, and Samantha Oglesby. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lee Longist and daughter, Victoria Davis. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Burial will Private. Arrangements are being handled by BOONE FUNERAL HOME – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
