Dorene (Tobi) Loesch, age 85, of Evansville, IN, on July 13, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Muscatine, Iowa, October 7, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Tobias and Verna Tobias Helterbran, her brother, Marvin Tobias, and devoted maternal grandparents, Cleve & Vercie Nickle.

Tobi wed Thomas Loesch Sr. on July 17, 1952. They were married 57 years until his death in 2009. Mother and Daddy, her beloved in-laws, Ralph and Elizabeth and best friend, Rosemary Loesch each preceded her in death.

Mama Tobi was a homemaker, employee of The Evansville Store (Lawndale) and the House of Schroeder, devoted Nanny to the Schnute family, and Caregiver to her spouse. She belonged to the Patchwork Central Community and was a member of Walnut Street and First Southern Baptist Churches. Dorene is survived by her children, Thomas Loesch Jr. (William Hedel), Andrew Loesch (Glenda), and Jennifer Rowden (Mark), five grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, Daniel Loesch (Diane), and sister-in-law, Dorris Loesch.

Also surviving are beloved friends, Cindy and Andy Pugh, and Brooke Schnute Harris and her family. Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend John Rich officiating. A gathering for family and friends follow the Service.

Burial at Sunset Cemetery will be private at a later date. Visitation from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
