Obituary for Peggy J. Lang Peggy J. Lang, 86, of Newburgh passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born April 11, 1932, in Knox County, IN to the late Goldie and Elmer Shelton. Peggy attended Reel Ave.

Christian Church and graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes, IN. Her first job was selling produce at Healy’s Market, and before moving to Evansville, she worked at Gimbel Bond. She retired after 36 years as the Secretary for Oak Hill Church of Christ, where she was a long time member.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished her church family. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Stacy McKay of Tampa, Florida; sons, Lance (Tammy) Lang of Newburgh, IN and Dirk (Lindsay) Lang of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Courtney Lang, Kelsey (Jared) Weber, Anthony (Kylie) Lang, Madison McKay, Emme Lang and Noah Lang; brother, Daren (Rosemary) Shelton; sister, Shirley Rose; and many nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene Shelton, Hubert Shelton and Donald Shelton; sisters, Dorothy Healy, Helen Mize, Marilyn Trout and Lorene Anderson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel 800 S. Hebron, Evansville. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with Minister Jonathon Riley officiating. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
