Agaytha Lee Floyd, 80, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Heritage Center. Agaytha was born in Warrick County, Indiana on January 13, 1938 to the late Paul and Fern (Taylor) Julian. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and was a loyal Elvis fan.

Agaytha enjoyed vacationing in Florida and in her later years, Myrtle Beach. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Agaytha was happy to take part in Cursillo #34 and sat at Saint Catherine’s… Read More » table.

She was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Agaytha is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Floyd of Evansville, IN; daughters, Dianne Rasco (Dan) of Oakland City, IN, Angela Angel (Stuart) of Evansville, IN, and Heather Hertel of Newburgh, IN; sons, Randy Floyd (Dawn) of Evansville, IN, Scott Floyd (Kelley) of Darmstadt, IN, and Jeff Floyd (LaDonna) of Cynthiana, IN; brother, Larry Julian (Debbie) of Boonville, IN; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Agaytha was preceded in death by her parents; and by brother, Russell Masterson.

A celebration of Agaytha’s life will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Mausoleum.

Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home where a rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. Friends may also visit from 8:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at the Heritage Center for all the care and compassion shown to Agaytha.
