Obituary for Eloise Shelton Eloise M. Shelton, 94, of Evansville, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Home. She was born December 13, 1923 in Evansville, IN to the late Fred and Helen (Wassmer) Loesch. Eloise was a member of the Evansville Firefighters Auxiliary.

She was a great cook and baker and enjoyed cooking for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ella Sherman of Evansville; grandson, Rusty V. (Amegan) Sherman of Wadesville, IN; great grandchildren, Kayley (Zach), Alyssa (Danny), Jacob, Landan and Chase; great great grandson, Lane. Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shelton, parents and brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel 800 S. Hebron Ave. , Evansville, IN 47714. A Prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm.

A Funeral service will begin at 9:30 am Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the funeral home and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Ave. , Evansville, IN 47714 with Father Ted Tempel officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Vanderburgh Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Dr, Evansville, IN 47710. The family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Home and Heritage Hospice. Condolences may be made online at www.
