OBITUARY David “Bruce” Villines September 25, 1952 – July 14, 2018 Play Tribute Movie David “Bruce” Villines, 65, of Evansville, IN passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at his home. He was born in Evansville, IN, on September 25, 1952, to the late William and Dorothy (Higdon) Villines. Bruce was a lifetime member of Westwood Baptist Church.

He retired in 2007 as the Promotions Manager with WFIE. He most recently worked as an Independent Utility Contractor. Bruce belonged to the Reitz R Men’s Club.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed coaching his children in soccer and coached many years for the church softball team. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rachel (Hostettler) Villines; sister, Patrice Villines; children, Kristina (Brian) Hartman, Sarah (Larry) Weis, Jeremy (Megan) Villines, Megan (Travis) Boger; and 13 grandchildren, Emily, Madison, David, Keydan and Henry Hartman, Denny and Ivy Weis, Rebekah, Samuel and Lillian Villines, Jasmine, Alexis and Brandon Boger. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Westwood Baptist Church, 121 S. Boehne Camp Road, officiated by Pastor John Sloan and Pastor Dave Teruel. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Westwood Baptist Church or Riley Children’s Hospital, where his grandchildren have received treatment. Condolences may be offered at www. AlexanderWestChapel.com.
