OBITUARY Phyllis J. Roth January 26, 1934 – July 19, 2018 Phyllis Roth, 84, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her home. She was born January 26, 1934 in Gary, IN to the late Walter and Garnett (Barnard) Warnke. She received a Masters in Education at Evansville College and was a teacher at Lodge School.

After retirement, she was a House Mother/Receptionist at Deaconess School of Nursing. She was a member of New Covenant Church for nearly 40 years, enjoyed Bible Study and singing in the Gospel Quartet called the Regal Sound. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Roth.

She is survived by daughters, Karen Skinner, Kris Pitlick (Steven), and Kami Patterson (Michael); grandchildren, Jennifer Skinner, Jeremy Skinner, Stephanie Johnson, Jessica Schwartz, Jared Patterson (Jillian). Benjamin Patterson (Melanie) and Katelyn Patterson; 9 great-grandchildren, and sister, Ruth Ann Veblen. Friends may visit 2:00-6:00PM, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St. A Funeral Service will be 11:00AM, Monday, July 23, 2018 at New Covenant Church, 711 Vayden St., Corydon, KY, officiated by Brenda Herron, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM to service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Music Department at New Covenant Church. Condolences may be made online at www.
