Lisa Banghart, formerly known as Anna E. Steckel, 61, of 29 N. Market St., Muncy, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her home. Born September 27, 1956 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Louisa (Amarino) Steckel. On Jan.

15, 1975, she married William “Bill” Banghart, who survives. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage. Lisa was a 1974 graduate of Montoursville High School.

She loved cooking and was the owner of the former Corner Subs and Lisa’s both in Muncy. Lisa enjoyed collecting antiques and gardening. One of her favorite pastimes was taking her dogs to Fisher’s Pond Park.

Most of all Lisa loved spending time with her children. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Whitney DeMuro and her husband, Michael, of Hughesville and Pharron Banghart and her partner, Robert Albright, of Muncy; two brothers, Frank Steckel, of Williamsport and Mark Steckel, of Glasgow, Scotland; two nieces and one nephew, Greta Thompson-Steckel, Winston Steckel and Emma Thompson-Steckel; and two grand dogs, Lucy and Lefty. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Lisa’s name be made to either the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd. , Williamsport, PA 17701 or to the Fight on Foundation, online at djfighton.com.
