Obituary for Lisa Michelle Strickland Lisa Michelle Strickland, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at her home. A native of Kentucky, Lisa is a daughter of Sharon (Clouse) Peake and the late James Peake. She was of the Christian faith and took care of her children her entire life.

Lisa was a loving mother and was incredibly generous. She never met a stranger. Lisa had a great sense of humor and cared for the well-being of all those around her.

Her grandchildren were her world. She loved her family and having coffee with her mother. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music and cooking.

In addition to her father, Lisa is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Michael Strickland; two brothers, Dennis Lyninger and Darrel Lyninger; brother-in-law, Robert Strickland; and in-laws, Betty and Daniel Strickland. In addition to her mother, Lisa Michelle Strickland has left behind to cherish her memory: Sons: Michael Strickland, of Erwin; Bradley Strickland, of Erwin Daughter: Tiffany Bollinger and husband, Marvin, of Johnson City; Grandchildren: Sophie Peterson, of Johnson City, Piper Bollinger, of Johnson City; Sister: Diana Lung, of Erwin; Many other in-laws, nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer special thanks to Chris Tolley and Sydney Masters for their care and support during this difficult time.

Service dates and times will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niswonger Children’s Hospital, 400 N State of Franklin Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
