Obituary for Lista Mae Martin (Frey) Lista Mae Martin, 97, of Shippensburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Maugansville Mennonite Home in Hagerstown, MD. , surrounded by her loving family. Born Sunday, April 18, 1920 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late David B. and Fannie Martin Frey.

Lista was a member of the Burns Valley Mennonite Church where she worked alongside her husband, Rev. Paul J. Martin for over 25 years. She loved and cherished her family, and enjoyed flower gardening.

She is survived by four sons, Wayne L. (Carolyn) Martin, Lester R. (Esther) Martin, Lee D. (Susan) Martin, and Dennis P. Martin, all of Shippensburg; three daughters, Wilma J. (Dale) Wadel, Joanne F. (John) Horst, all of Shippensburg, and Jenny M. (Lyle) Martin, Sarasota, FL; one brother, Preston (Lorraine) Frey, Chambersburg; two sisters, Beulah Shank, and Lois (Ira) Martin, all of Hagerstown, MD; 30 grandchildren; 92 great grandchildren; and 23 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Paul J. Martin; her daughter, Doreen Horst, who passed Tuesday, just one day prior, two brothers, two sisters, two grandsons, and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rowe Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Daryl Diller, Rev. Allen Martin, and Brother Jason Wadel officiating.

Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, from 1-2 p.m. at the Maugansville Mennonite Home, Hagerstown, MD. , and from 6-8 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., Shippensburg, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
