Lois E. Christiansen, 91, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Wednesday evening, May 2, 2018, at The Meadows at Osborn Park, in Huron, OH. Born on July 13, 1926, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Clarence and Marion (Gregersen) Krawetzki. She was a 1944 graduate of Sandusky High School, In her earlier days, Lois had worked at Barr Rubber and later became a dedicated mother and homemaker.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Lois is survived by her daughter, Kay (and her favorite son-in-law, David) Faetanini of Sandusky; two grandchildren, Christina (Kevin Conley) Faetanini and Nicholas Faetanini; a nephew, Douglas (Hope) Nottke of Huron; and nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert J. “Bob” Christiansen on September 27, 2011; and a sister, Marian Nottke.

It was her wish to be cremated. The family will receive friends on Monday morning, May 7, 2018, from 10 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev.

Dr. Eric Bodenstab officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
