Funeral services for Lois J. Werner, 88, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, at Meadow Grove. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Home for Funerals 1203 W. Norfolk Ave.

Lois died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Community Pride Care Center. Lois was born October 2, 1929, to William and Mary (Koenig) Schulze in Tilden, NE. She was baptized February 3, 1930 and confirmed September 12, 1943.

Lois graduated from Tilden High School in 1947. On June 4, 1947, Lois married Clarence Werner in Marysville, KS. They farmed south of Meadow Grove.

In 1966 they moved to Norfolk. Lois enjoyed bowling, camping, gardening, painting, boating and spending winters in Texas and Arizona, but most of all she loved time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois is survived by her son Robert Werner and his friend Cindy Wichman of Norfolk, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 12, 2009, a son in infancy, and 4 brothers.
