Lois Stevens Davis, age 89, of Marion, North Carolina, went home to be the Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. The daughter of the late A.J. Stevens and Lassie Lunsford Stevens, Lois was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on April 13, 1929. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wilton Lee Davis; one son, Richard Davis; one grandson, Jeffery Mark Davis; and one daughter-in-law, Melody Davis.

Lois, who proudly loved and faithfully served the Lord, was a member of Cross Mill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Marion where she served many years as a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed going fishing with her family and friends. Lois, who will be greatly missed, is survived by her three children, Terry Davis, Donnie Davis (Johnnie) and Brenda Davis (Kenny); two sisters, Reba Lytle and Barbara Elliott; five grandchildren, Eric, Mark, Casey, Colby and Michael; and ten great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Colby Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Moffitt Hill Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Wilton. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in her memory are asked to consider, Cross Mill Pentecostal Holiness Church, 75 Reservoir Road, Marion, North Carolina 28752.
