Obituary for Lorna Mae Pildner Our loving and caring mother passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper. Age 82 years. The daughter of the late Otto and Laura (Eckstorm) Kuch, Lorna was born February 11, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She married Robert Pildner, Sr. on June 14, 1958. He predeceased her February 14, 2013. As a young lady, Lorna was employed at Heavenrich’s in downtown Saginaw.

She was later employed at Michigan Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church and its Altar Guild.

Lorna was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed gardening and shopping. Most of all, she loved being around family and friends. Lorna will be remembered for being a fantastic cook, her sense of humor and love of life.

Surviving are one daughter and one son, Lori Pildner, Saginaw; Robert Daniel Pildner Jr. and his wife Becki, Longmont, Colorado; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marion Kuch, Karolyn and Bob Chicky, Martin and Mollie Pildner, ; several nieces and nephews. Lorna was preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Krieg, a brother, Albert Kuch, and by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Kuch, Jane and Ralph Detloff, Sally and Joe Prince. Lorna’s family extends their gratitude and appreciation to Katie and Shelly, Visiting Angels, Drs.

Andrew LaFleur and Omer Mirza and the phenomenal nursing staff at Covenant 7th floor for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 4432 Mackinaw Road in Saginaw.

Rev. Kristina Truhan will officiate. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
