Lorraine D. Dillingham, 61, of South Bend, IN passed away at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1957 in Dowagiac, MI to Nick Oprea and Dorothy (Sedlar) Smouse. On October 11, 1980 in Dowagiac, MI, she married Wilton “Sonny” Dillingham, who survives.

Lorraine is also survived by her daughter, Sara Dillingham and son, Nicholas Dillingham, both of Cassopolis, MI; four grandchildren, Joe, Wilo, Sage and Crow; two sisters, Nikki and Debbie and two brothers, Jerry and Darin. She was preceded in death by her father, Nick Oprea. Lorraine was a lifelong area resident.

She worked as a paralegal in a law office. A Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the family’s home. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
