Mark Steven Weger, 60, lifelong South Bend resident, passed away at 3:50 am Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born September 13, 1957 in South Bend to the late Jack and Bobbie (King) Weger. Mark is survived by his daughter, Genevieve Weger of South Bend; and sister, Elaine Weger, also of South Bend.

He worked as a waiter / server at the Olive Garden Restaurant prior to his death. Mark loved his daughter and was proud of her love for robotics, which she was able to develop through the Mishawaka Catholic Robotics Program. Memorial services for Mark will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, where friends may visit with the family for two hours prior to services.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mark may be donated to the Mishawaka Catholic Robotics Program, 230 S. Spring Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544 or the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
