Marilyn “Candy” Leahy July 9, 1948 – May 24, 2018 SOUTH BEND – Marilyn “Candy” Leahy, 69, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Candy was born on July 9, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late Irvin W. Caine and Ethellyn (Borodkin) Caine and has lived most of her life in this area. For many years, Candy worked in the Illinois School System as a Teacher’s Aide.

She also worked as a Pharmaceutical Technician and most recently at the Catalogue Call Center for the University of Notre Dame. Her former husband and father of their children, Edward P. Leahy, has preceded her in death on September 20, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Jesse) Clark of South Bend; son, Kenyon (Darcy) Leahy of South Bend; two grandchildren, Shara Clark and Destiny Clark; and her sister, Janet (Arthur) Dahl of Oakland, CA.

Candy requested no services to be held. Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed on this webpage.
