Duane Allen Kreczmer, 71, residing in Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 in his home. He was born April 29, 1947, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Francis Kreczmer and Flora (Blume) Kristensen. Duane was a veteran of the US Navy, serving on the USS Massey (DD-778).

He worked as an electrical lineman for Indiana & Michigan Electric Company for 20 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed bowling. His generosity and tenderheartedness will be missed.

Duane is survived by two brothers, David and Dwight; three daughters, Leah, Amanda, and Alexis; and two grandchildren, Allianna and Anthony. Dad, I hoped you always knew how much I loved you, and you would find peace and happiness. Be at peace now.
