Louis Andrew Pomarico, of Hamden passed away November 10, 2018 in Yale New Haven Hospital- St. Raphael Campus. He is the beloved husband of Isabelle Daniele Pomarico. Born on St. John St. in New Haven June 4, 1930, son of the late John and Antoinette Consorte Pomarico, Louis was a proud US Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.

He was the owner of B. Glick Furniture Company on Grand Ave. in New Haven for many years, later working as a real estate agent. Louis enjoyed dancing.

playing golf, pinochle. For over 25 years he visited children on Christmas Eve as Santa Claus, he also organized many family reunions and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His family was first and foremost in his life.

He is the loving father of Karen Pomarico, Susan Pomarico, Vanessa Pomarico-Denino and her husband David, and Lizabeth Glick. Brother of Angelina Ferrara, Emily Cycenas, George Pomarico, and the late Frank Pomarico. Proud grandfather of Alana Pomarico Davis and Demi Goldfuss.

Great grandfather of Zoë Davis and Michael Goldfuss Jr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his close friend Silvio Sagnella. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:30 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church at 11 with military honors following Mass.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 417500 East Hartford, CT 06108 or to Vitas Hospice 199 Park Rd Ext. Suite 102 Middlebury, CT 06762.
