Obituary for Dino Joseph DiGirolamo Dino Joseph DiGirolamo, age 85, died on December 24, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, Connecticut. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1933, to the late Alphonsina (Canzanella) and Joseph DiGirolamo. He is survived by his wife, Rose (Caccavale) DiGirolamo and children; Lori (DiGirolamo) Friedman and (Howard) of Westport, son, Dino David DiGirolamo of Hamden, Lynn (DiGirolamo) Mut and (Rick) of Hamden.

Dino is also survived by grandchildren; Michael, Julia (Friedman) Shacklette and (Evan), Adam Friedman and Nicholas and Gabrielle DiGirolamo, Ryan and Ava Mut and great-grandchild Peter Shacklette. He is also survived by his brothers John DiGirolamo (Shirley), Carlo DiGirolamo (Beatrice), and sister Lorraine Caldwell (Theodore), and predeceased sister Eleanor Volpe (Leo). Dino served in the Navy during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus as a Third Degree Knight. He and his wife were the owners of Beverly Hills beauty salon in Westville for 39 years. Dino will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, and loving man.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Church of the Ascension, 1050 Dunbar Hill Rd. Hamden. Friends are asked to go directly to church.

Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4 – 7p.m. in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden.
