Obituary for Thomas J. Moore, Jr. Thomas J. Moore Jr., 88, a longtime resident of Jaenicke Lane in Hamden, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9,2018 in his residence at Atria Larson Place. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Mooney Moore.

He is survived by two daughters, Eileen (Fiance Christopher Carr) Cassello and Kerry (David) Esposito, both of Wallingford, three sons, Thomas J.(Moira)Moore III, Michael (Jean-Ann) Moore and Kevin (Mary) Moore all of Hamden, grandchildren, Aubrey and Thomas J. Moore IV, Megan (Sampson) Wilcox, Michael Cassello, Matthew, Andrew and Brian Esposito, and Daniel and Alexandra Moore, a sister Elizabeth Cronk of East Haven and was kunkles to all his favorite nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother John Moore and sisters Margaret Gallagher and Ethel Courtmanche. Thomas was born March 22,1930 in New Haven a son of the late Thomas J. and Edith Taylor Moore Sr., was a graduate of the former Commercial High School and served with the US Army Reserve.

He was employed for over forty years as a service technician with the Southern CT Gas Co He volunteered at the St. Ann Soup Kitchen for many years and enjoyed traveling with Lillian on trips to Ireland and Italy and all over the USA. Thomas’s family would like to thank the entire staff at Atria Larson Place for the kind and professional care given to him.

Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave. , Hamden, Saturday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church at 10:00.

Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm. Memorial contributions mat be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd.
