Lucy B. Rhodes January 31, 1934 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Lucy B. Rhodes, 84, of Charlottesville died on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital after a long illness. Lucy was born January 31, 1934 in Charlottesville, Va. , she was the daughter to the late William J. and Christine C. Rhodes.

She was also predeceased by her sister of Monroe, Va. , Alice Staples. She was a longtime employee of the Michie Law Publishing Company.

Lucy is survived by her three sisters, Nellie Houchens of Charlottesville, Barbara Wood of Charlottesville and Hazel Johnson of Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews. A public visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Hill and Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Holly Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ron Williams officiating.
