Rhinebeck- Lynda Calabrese, 72, passed away at Northern Dutchess Hospital on May 22, 2018. Loving wife and mother born in East Orange, NJ on March 20, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Douglas and Gladys Bjorklund. Linda was a professional hair dresser in Hyde Park, NY In 1984 she married Frank Calabrese Jr. and moved to Rhinebeck where they fostered and adopted children.

Lynda is survived by her husband Frank, children Lisa Decker, Merwin Burger, Crystal, Michael, Teri, Frankie, Kenny, Aaron, Gillian, Brandon, Holly, Sharon, Casey and Tina Commerford, Brothers Kenneth and William Douglas, and thirteen grandchildren. She was predeceased by Charles Calabrese who lost his battle with leukemia at age 21. There are no calling hours.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. She will always be profoundly missed and will be with us forever in our hearts. We love you Momma.
