Muench, 94, of Perryville, died March 17, 2019 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, MO. She was born June 20, 1924 in Perryville, MO, daughter of Carl and Hilda (Rauh) Mecker. She first married Gilbert Seibel on June 16, 1946.

He preceded her in death on December 4, 1950. She then married Walter Muench on October 12, 1957. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1994.

Madeline was a unit Secretary at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Choir in Perryville and Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include one son and three daughters, Eric (Janet) Seibel of Perryville, Kathryn (Dr. Douglas) Gorthy of Silver City, NM, Diane (Wade) Dowdy of Glenallen, MO and Joyce (Brian) Schweikert of Fairfield, OH and five grandchildren, Martha Seibel of Hanoi, Vietnam, Allison (Joe) Knab of Cleves, OH, Lindsey Schweikert of Fairfield, OH, Kristin Dowdy of Brockport, NY and Kimberly Schweikert of Fairfield, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husband’s, two sisters, Iola Boehme and Euline Mecker and one brother, Melvin Mecker. Visitation will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 23 from 9:00 am until time of Service at 11:00 am with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.

Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Crown Hospice or Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements.
