Mamie’s Obituary Funeral services for Ms. Mamie Mayeux will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Rush Funeral home, Pineville with Reverend Phillip Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery, Philadelphia Community, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Ms. Mayeux, 87, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 28, 2019 in her residence.

Mamie was a lifelong member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. She was a retired cafeteria manager at Brame Junior High School. She enjoyed crafting, mending quilts and was a member of Wise Crackers Craft Club.

Mamie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ms. Mayeux is preceded in death by her parents, George and Annie Porter and her husband, Sylvan Anthony “Pete” Mayeux. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Debbie Warren and her husband Sherwood of Ball, Tina Green of Pineville; one sister, Patsy Taylor and her husband Bill of Platt City, MO; five grandchildren, Tina Martin, Marissa Sanders, Patricia Vets, Catherine Campbell, Deborah Green; seven great grandchildren, Dillan Grice, Sabrina Martin, Ella Walker, Braxton Ballard, Hailey Ballard, Jackson Vets, Benjamin Vets and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Friends may post online messages of condolences for the Mayeux family by visiting www. rushfh.com.
