Kenneth’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Daward Deville will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Steve Speer officiating. Interment will follow in Old Homeplace Cemetery, Deville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mr. Deville, 54, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.

Ken was a native of Deville and a longtime business owner in the restaurant industry, known for his cooking and catering. His specialty was crawfish, cracklins, boudin and sausage. He will be remembered for his generosity in the community, always willing to help others.

He was a member of “Boss”, an organization generated to helping the community and anyone in need. He also loved to hunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Deville.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of thirty-two years, Jeanne Deville, of Deville; two sons, Nick Catour and his wife, Nicole, of Cambridge, IL. and Matthew Deville and his wife, Rachel, of Deville; one daughter, Crystal Johnson and her husband, Eric, of Deville; two brothers, Kirk Deville and his wife, Emily, of Deville and Kris Deville and his wife, Marla, of Donaldsonville; three sisters, Karen Vanderberg and her husband, William, of Pineville, Karla Bowie and her husband, Doug, of Tioga and Dana Gardner, of Deville; his mother, Elizabeth Nell Juneau and her husband, Roland, of Deville and seven grandchildren, Payton, Ryle, Byron, Zoey, Kenzie, Trentin and Hawk. Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: Dwight Moses, Mike Shield, Jonathan Briggs, Steven Briggs, Chase Linzay and D.J. McWaters. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Deville and Kirk Deville. Friends may post online messages of condolence for the Deville family by visiting www.
