Frances’ Obituary Graveside services for Ms. Frances Vercher will be held at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Forest Lawn, Ball. Interment will follow under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Ms. Vercher, 93, of Shreveport, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Christus Schumpert Bossier.

Frances attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in her earlier years. She was a retired psychiatric aid with Central State Hospital. Frances enjoyed reading, puzzles and gardening.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ms. Vercher is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Frances Rachel; her husband, Lee N. Vercher; three sisters, Edna Rachal, Myrtle St. Andria, Violet Dalme; two brothers, Raymond Rachal, Jr. and John Elizee Rachal. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Sandra Gilcrease and her husband Bruce of Shreveport, Karen Sammons and her husband Michael of W. Monroe; one son, Galen Vercher and his wife Ruby of Shreveport; eight grandchildren, Tania, Darien, Brandon, Mark, Shane, Zachary, Justin, Ronnie; fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends may post online messages of condolences for the Vercher family by visiting www. rushfh.com.
