Eddie’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Dupuy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn, Ball, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mr. Dupuy, 62, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence.

Eddie was born in Hessmer, grew up in Marco and was a graduate of Cloutierville High School, Class of 1975. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving with the Military Police. Thereafter, he worked for Amarillo Police Department then retired as a security officer for Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in 2016 after twenty-nine years of service.

Eddie enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Dupuy is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lester LaCaze and Grace Sanders; his grandparents, Octave and Ezell LaCaze. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of thirty years, Brenda LaCaze Dupuy of Pineville; one son, Jeremy Allen Dupuy of Pineville; his Godfather, Lloyd Neal Moreau and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Stacy Bonds, Chris Derbonne, Adam Holt, Paul Pusaterie, Mack Macario and Marty LaCaze. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry LaCaze, Dan Mayes and Billy Scott.
