Bernice’s Obituary Funeral services for Ms. Bernice Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with Reverend Ritchie Thornton officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Ms. Jones, 66, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Tioga Community Care. Bernice worked for numerous nursing homes in Central Louisiana and was a homemaker.

She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Bernice will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ms. Jones is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Wellington and her husband, Billy Jones, Sr. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three daughters, Marilyn LaCaze and her husband Marty of Pineville; Denita Valverde and her husband Tony of Anahuac, Texas, Billie Jones of Lake Charles; one son, Billy Jones, Jr. and his wife Sissy of Pineville; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Friends may post online messages of condolences for the Jones family by visiting www.
