Interment will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens, Reeves, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Kinder. Ms. Ahrens, 47, of Ragley, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.

Misti was an amazing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and the beach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Sr. and Cheryl Halcomb; her father and mother in law, Delbert and Doris Ahrens.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include the father of her children, Deon Ahrens of Topsy; one son, Slade Ahrens of Topsy; four daughters, Ciara Norton and her husband Jim Bob of Topsy, Chyanne Spencer and her husband Zachary of Topsy, Aurora Ahrens of Topsy and Desiree Juarez of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Dwight, Lee, Alexis, Isabella and Dorian. Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Kinder on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
