Carol’s Obituary Funeral services for Ms. Carol Bowman will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Sicily Island First Baptist Church of Sicily Island with Reverends Kevin Bates and Mike Devillier officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery, Gilbert, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Ms. Bowman, 60, of Waterproof, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her daughters residence.

Carol was a member of Sicily Island First Baptist Church and she enjoyed her Sunday School Class. She was a retired secretary. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ms. Bowman is preceded in death by her father, John Bowman, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Claude Albert Lee; her paternal grandparents, Annabelle and William Homer Bowman and her brother, Ronnie Bowman. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her mother, Bonnie Lee Bowman of Waterproof; one daughter, Keisha Hutto and her husband Paul of Winnsboro; one sister, Tammy Price and her husband Steven of Sicily Island; one brother, John Bowman, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Sicily Island; two grandchildren, Makenzie Hutto and Kendall Hutto, both of Winnsboro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at Sicily Island First Baptist Church of Sicily Island, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 12:00 noon until time of service. Friends may post online messages of condolences for the Bowman family by visiting www. rushfh.com.
