Frederick’s Obituary Memorial services for Mr. Frederick Harrison Groot will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, with Reverend Michael McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow in White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY. , under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Groot, 94, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in his residence. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-eight years, Ida Mae Groot and his son, Frederick Harry Groot.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his great niece, Lacey Linder and her husband, Scott, of Oakdale; two great nephews, Chuck Magee, of Port Byron, NY. and Doug Magee and his wife, Anna, of Port Byron, NY. ; great-great niece, Amanda Linder and her fiance’, Anthony Coss, of Oakdale; great-great nephew, Joey Linder, of Oakdale and five great-great-great nieces, Scottie Lynn, Raynee, Chelsea, Emilee and Izabelle.
