Marcia “Lois”‘s Obituary Sis. Marcia Dolores “Lois” was born heir to Lawerence Collins and Charlie Mae King on October 17, 1947 in Chicago, IL. She relocated to Canfield, AR shortly after her birth and was raised by Mrs. Effie Robinson.

Lois accepted Christ at an early age and was ac active member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church until the church disbanded. She later became a member of the New Jerusalem House of Prayer. She loved attending New Jerusalem at the side of her dear husband Elder Arthur Davis.

Marcia was proceeded in death by her parents, One brother, Ben King; One Son Eddie White; her Godly Mother Effie Robinson; and her Godly Father Brogie Robinson. Lois gained her heavenly wings on October 13, 2018 at 2:37 a.m. at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Lois took pleasure in her service to others.

Her employment including being an in-home service nurse; a cafeteria worker at Bradley High School, and as the owner and operator of the Davis Diner in Bradley, AR. Even when her health began to fail, Lois’ desire to help others was still strong and she continued to work at Walmart as a greeter. Lois believed in living her life on her own terms and she always believed in telling it like it was!

Those who knew her, knew she pulled no punches and told you what was on her mind. She was the life of the Davis household. Lois leaves a lifetime of memories with her husband, Rev.

Arthur Lee Davis; son Christopher Lauderdale of Cullen, LA; two daughters: Danielle Lauderdale of Dallas, TX and Michelle Davis of Chesapeake, VA; five brothers; Enoch King, Ben L. James (Martha Dale) both from Chicago, ILL. , Tyrone King of Dallas, TX, Lawerence Collins Jr. (Debra) and Henry Williams both of Los Angeles, CA; five sisters: Rose King of Milwaukee, WI. , Brenda Collins, Glenda Collins, Diane Street all of Los Angeles, CA.

and Yvonne Holly of San Antonio, TX, and one furbaby, Fluffy Davis. Marcia’s Home Going Celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, at First Baptist Church Balaytown, in Canfield, Arkansas. Her earthly body will be laid to rest at Grant Cemetery, Canfield.
