Margaret June Reed, 96 of East Liverpool passed suddenly at home on Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was a daughter of the late George W. and Anna McKenna Herron, and she was born on June 3, 1921, in Pughtown, now known as New Manchester, WV. June was a loving homemaker to her husband Robert M. Reed who passed on October 27, 2011.

Earlier she had worked for Doctors WT Gooch and James Fisher in Weirton. June had also worked for JC Penney. While her husband was serving in the US Army, she was employed by the Veterans Administration.

In addition to her parents and husband, her brothers, Dick, George, Fred, and Jim Herron and her sister, Alice Cook also preceded her in death. Several close nieces, nephews, and friends survive. Rev.

Katrina Lewis will celebrate June’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, April 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her husband Bob at the Union Cemetery in New Manchester. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the Monday Services.
