Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend finished her mortal life on earth on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the age of 87. Margaret was the oldest of four children born to Merrill L. Terry and Euphamia Hunter Terry on March 28, 1931 in Lyman, Wyoming. She met and married her sweetheart, Glen J. Flitton on November 17, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple shortly after his return from serving his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

They were married for 66 years and had five children. Margaret graduated from Weber High School. She worked at IRS and later was a Bus Assistant for Weber School District.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was willing to serve in any calling she was extended and was such a great example of service to others. Some of her callings were Relief Society President, Choir Director, Ward Organist and an accompanist in Primary. She served many years with her musical talent.

She was also a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and truly loved it. She was awarded a 50-year pin. She really enjoyed serving as Secretary, Vice-President, and President.

She loved her family and attended many recitals, sporting events, and whatever her children and grandchildren participated in. She was so proud of all of them. She loved to go camping in her motorhome and loved it when family joined them.

Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crafts of all kinds, traveling, and watching the Utah Jazz games. Margaret is survived by her sons: Terry (Susan) Flitton and David (Pauline) Flitton, daughters: Becky (Craig) Wall and DeAnn (Alvin) Auldridge, 13 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), two brothers: Boyd and LaVere Terry, one sister: Sandra Hatch, and their spouses. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. , Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, February 19th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday prior to the service from 10:10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the love and assistance offered by the caregivers of IHC Hospice and Fairfield Village of Layton.
