Obituary for Margie Harper Margie Clendenin Harper – Weber City, VA Margie Clendenin Harper, 61, Weber City, VA passed away September 23, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Margie was born in Sullivan County to the late Maxine Bush Blair July 20, 1957 Along with her mother she was proceeded in death by her sister Mary Lou Blair. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, James E. Harper; daughters, Dorlis McClellan (Johnny); sons, Danny Clendenin, Ricky Clendenin (Christy); father of her three children, Danny Clendenin; step-daughters, Sandra Spell (Danny), Shannon Phillips; step-sons, Rick Harper (Brenda), Shawn Harper; grandchildren, Cynthia, Jayden, Aaliyah, Codie; step-grandchildren, Tori and Dakota; great-grandchildren, Marlei; step-great-grandchildren, Joplin and Hendrix; special nephew Jody Blair.
She was a giving person with a big heart. She loved everyone. Margie enjoyed new recipes, and loved cooking.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow after at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mike Owens.
