Margie W. Harris, 95, passed away May 6, 2018. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Wednesday May 9, 2018 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Gardens Park Cemetery in High Point.

A native of Stokes County, Margie was the daughter of the late Mary Mina Sisk and Bloomer Vison Wilkins. She was married to the late Nimmo R. Harris who died in 1995. She had worked at Amos Hosiery Mill in High Point, and became a homemaker raising her three sons.

Margie was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Survivors include her sons Glenn E. Harris and Betsy of Greensboro, Keith N. Harris and Mary of Chapel Hill, and Stann W. Harris of Clemmons; grandchildren Michael E. Harris and Mandy of Advance, David D. Harris of Winston-Salem, Chuck E. Smith and Jana of Chapel Hill, and Dawn Blake of Chapel Hill; great-grandchildren Brady, Ellie, Chase, Maylynn, Thomas, and Connor; sisters Opal Mabe of Southern Pines, and Dana Pruette of Denver, NC; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from 9:30AM until time for the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
