Obituary for Maria Jolanta Hammett (Kubinska) Gaffney — Maria Jolanta Kubinska Hammett, 62, of 319 Russell Street, passed away Friday, September 14th, 2018, at her residence. Born in Krakow, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Leopold Kubinski and Irena Kubinska. Mrs. Hammett retired as a chemical technician, she was a devout Catholic, and member of Sacred Heart Church.
Surviving Mrs. Hammett are a daughter, Anna Maria Hammett, of Charlotte; two brothers, Poldek and Euric Kubinski. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 20th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church, 407 Grace Street Gaffney, SC 29340, with Father Michael McCafferty officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
