Marian M. Seo October 24, 1932 – March 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Marian M. Seo, 86, of Lincoln Street, Hazleton, died Friday morning at her home. Born in Columbia, SC, October 24, 1932, she was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Hazleton. Following high school graduation in SC, she worked as a stenographer at Ft.

Jackson, SC. After moving to the area, Marian was employed for several years as a welder for Thorn Caging in Hazleton. She loved flowers and was a member of the Hazleton Garden Club.

There she was recording security, served as a past president and worked on articles of publicity for the club. She was also an active member of her church, volunteering for various church functions as well as being a member of the Alter Guild. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents were several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Louis V. Seo; son Tony Seo and his wife Johanna of Palmerton; daughter Kathy Perchak and her husband Joe of Hazleton; daughter Debra Seo of Hazleton; son Donald Seo and his wife Elizabeth of New Mexico; sister Ruby Ford of Columbia, SC; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Christ Lutheran Church, 210 West Green Street, Hazleton, for a funeral service that will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Johns Lutheran and UCC Cemetery, St. Johns.

Friends may call that the Hazle Chaple of Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 426 West Broad Street, Hazleton, on Monday evening from 6-8:00 PM. Memorial Donations to the Christ Lutheran Church, 210 West Green Street, Hazleton, PA 18201 are welcomed by the family.
