Marianne L. (Gurecka) Notarnicola, 88, of West Leechburg, PA, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 in her residence. A daughter of the late Joseph Gurecka and Mary (Baka) Gurecka, she was born December 8, 1929 in East Vandergrift, PA. Marianne was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

She was a 1947 graduate of Vandergrift High School and member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association and the Rosary Society of Holy Trinity Church. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and tending to her home. Survivors include her husband, Vito M. Notarnicola; a son, Nick Notarnicola; and a daughter, Marie Notarnicola, all of West Leechburg, PA; and a brother, Joseph Lewis Gurecka of Pittsburgh, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Andrew Gurecka; and a sister, Margaret Pastva. Private visitation and funeral ceremonies were held at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051). Interment was held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
