She was born February 14, 1964 in Dimmitt, Texas to Hector Ruben Trevino, Sr and Consuelo Mari Cantu Olivarez. Armando Ortiz , Sr. and Maribel Trevino were married August 23, 1979 in Borger, Texas.

She was a housewife and a member of the Catholic Church. Mrs. Ortiz was preceded in death by her father, Hector Trevino, Sr.,; her grandmother who raised her, Consuelo Beltran and her granddaughter, Consuelo Salazar. Her survivors include: her husband of 39 years, Armando Ortiz, Sr.; her mother Connie DeZapata and her father Hilario Beltran and wife Licha; a son, Armando Ortiz, Jr. and wife, Maira of Phenix City, Alabama; 3 daughters: Leticia Lopez and husband Omar of Pampa, Texas; Lynsey McCarty and husband Jason of Stinnett, Texas and Lizett Martinez and husband Abel Jr. of Pampa, Texas; 3 sisters: Esmeralda Orozco and husband Elias of Dumas, Texas; Belinda De Los Angeles of Dumas, Texas and Cynthia Trevino of Dumas, Texas; 2 brothers: Anthony Trevino of Dumas, Texas and Merril Trevino of Dumas, Texas; 11 grandchildren: Kyriah, Jennifer, Adamari, Anthony, Gabriela, Jasmine, Celeste, Yesenia, Esgar, Adrian and Lexie.

Rosary will be held Monday, December, 17 at 7:00 PM at Brown’s Chapel in Stinnett. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Stinnett at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Ortiz will lie in state at Brown’s Chapel in Stinnett on Sunday, December, 16 from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 17 at Brown’s Chapel in Stinnett from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Stinnett.
