Marie P. Lesesne, 71, wife of the late David Lesesne, died Friday, June 22, 2018, at Carolinas Hospital System, Florence. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Monday, June 25, 2018, at Willow Creek Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mrs. Lesesne was born on July 25, 1946 in Florence County, daughter of the late Charlton Franklin Poston and Nona McDaniel Poston. She was a graduate of Hannah High School and retired from Southeast Vending. Mrs. Lesesne was a member of Willow Creek Baptist church where she was active in multiple ministries.

She and her husband were Antique Car Show enthusiast and enjoyed going to the car shows. Surviving are her daughters, Beth (Kenney) Coxe, Charlotte (Art) Galikowski, JoAnna (William) Odom and Austin Lesesne, all of Florence; seven grandchildren; sister, JoAnn (Joe) Poston, brother, Teddy Poston and sister-in-law, Joyce Poston, all of Pamplico; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Buddy Rogers. Mrs. Lesesne was preceded in death by brothers, Charles “Punk” Poston and Jimmy C. Poston.

Memorials may be made to Willow Creek Baptist Church, 914 East Spring Branch Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
