Obituary for Marilyn A. Davis Marilyn A. Davis, 89, of Rittman, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Akron General/Cleveland Clinic Hospice in Copley. She was born August 13, 1928 in Canton to the late J. Albert and Martha (Conkle) Geitgy and lived most of her life in Rittman. Marilyn married Arnold Davis and he preceded her in death in 1985.

She was employed by and retired from Louisiana Pacific where she worked for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, flowers, gardening and her CB radio. She was known as “Bubbles” on the radio.

Surviving are daughters, Connie (Larry) Carter of Lake Stevens, WA, Darla Saunders of Barberton and Vickie (Roger) Rooks of Wadsworth; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sandy (Delbert) Killough of Rittman; brothers, Warren (Jean) Geitgy and Jim (Jean) Geitgy both of Wadsworth, Zane (Cathy) Geitgy of Benton, AR, Keith (Martha) Geitgy of West Salem and Gary Geitgy of Rittman; sister-in-law, Wonema Geitgy of Cuyahoga Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; and brother, George Geitgy. Services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Timothy Ruch officiating.
