Mark Russel Seigworth, 39, Home, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. The son of Russel Alan and Patricia Ann (Pappal) Seigworth, he was born June 23, 1979. Mark enjoyed playing video games, cooking, music, watching movies, and rooting for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins.

He was an avid reader and was currently reading another Stephen King thriller. For many years prior to his disability, Mark was employed in the Indiana food service industry…. Rouki’s Restaurant and Deli, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Hills of Home Market, and Domino’s Pizza.

Surviving are his parents; sisters, Kelly (Chad) Berfield, Homer City, Kristine (Leona Kilcoin) Seigworth, Middletown, NY, and Kimberly Herzing, Lititz, PA; nieces and nephews, Sadie, Nadia, and David Herzing and Maitlyn and Brennen Berfield. He is also survived by his pet feline, Naomi. Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorris (Pitt) Pappal and paternal grandparents, J.F. and Irma (Beck) Seigworth.

Friends are invited to celebrate Mark’s life from 2 to 4p.m. Saturday at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Kendra Balliet, officiating. Interment at the Washington Church Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Visiting Nurse Association, 850 Hospital Road, Suite 3000, Indiana, PA or Four-Footed Friends, 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA.
