Marlene A. Lynch (Kregel) went home to the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2018. Born in Beecher, IL on July 9, 1940 to Martin and Anna Kregel; she married James Lynch on August 28, 1964. Marlene was the mother of three daughters; Valerie Lynch, Gail Lynch-Vanek, and Lisa Kline (husband John).

She was also the grandmother of five grandchildren; Joshua, James, T.J., Jeremy, and Chris. Marlene enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, and spending time with her beloved dog Coco Chanel. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beecher, IL where she was a member of the Ladies Aide and also its self-appointed historian.

She was also a past President of the Keyesport Senior Citizens Club, charter member of the Keyesport American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the Keyesport Town Council with a brief mayoral appointment. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Kenneth, and sister in laws Joanne Kregel, Joyce Kregel, Jeanette Kregel, and brother in law Leo Eickstaedt ; Marlene is survived by her three daughters, five grandchildren, sister Florence Eickstaedt, brother Leonard Kregel (wife Marge), and brother Norman Kregel.
