Obituary of Martin Allen Martin W. Allen, 70, of Benedict Ave. , Jamestown, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 in his home. He was born February 21, 1948 in Jamestown, the son of Naomi Meabon Allen and the late Elmer C. Allen, and was a graduate of Maple Grove Central School.

He was retired from Dawson Metal as a machine operator. Martin was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club and a member and Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. He was also known for his love of Christ.

He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and other sports. He was a big New York Yankees and Cleveland Browns fan. His main interest in his later years was golf.

He was a member of Timbercreek and Cable Hollow Golf Clubs. He had a sarcastic sense of humor, a quick wit, and was always joking around. He had nicknames for his family and for everyone he knew.

In addition to his mother, Naomi, of Jamestown, surviving are three children: Teri Allen of Jamestown, Pattie (John) Angeletti of Bemus Point and Chris Allen of Havelock, NC; four grandchildren: Zoe Allen (Nick Blackmar), Sitivia Allen, Trey Monroe and Jakob Allen-Walsh; four sisters: Harriet Buchanon, Candace Storer, Valerie Clark and Darcie Wright and a brother, Michael Allen; many nieces and nephews; as well as his former wives, Linda Allen and Sheila Allen. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, April 30th at the Busti Church of God.
